I spoke with Ms. Kathleen Mullen in Toronto through an internet mediated phone call on the 2nd of August 2011 about her film called “Breathtaking,” which is about her father’s journey with an asbestos related cancer called mesothelioma, and the global implications of Canada’s asbestos mining and export industry. “Breathtaking” recently screened at Laborfest in San Francisco in July, 2011.
