Dr. T.K. Joshi is the founder of the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi. He initiated the first course in Occupational Health within India in 2005. He was a member of the committee formed by the Union Ministry of Environment and Forests to develop an Environmental Health Action Plan for India in 2000.
